The Networked Nonprofit: Connecting with Social Media to Drive Change

Posted by Anand Sheombar on October 17, 2010 at 2:25pm 0 Comments

In a way it's a summary of thoughts and ideas they presented over the years in their blogs and presentations. I do like the hands on approach and clear advice they provide for non profit organisations. I would suggest you to have a look and pick those bits and pieces that are appropriate…

About SoMe4D

SoMe4D is the acronym for Social Media for international aid & Development. It is founded by freelance IT for development consultant & researcher Anand Sheombar.

Initially the aim of SoMe4D is to bring together those who are interested in the activities of international aid and development organisations operating from or based at the The Netherlands.

But feel free to join the community, even if you are from another region.

Eventually region-oriented or thematic groups can be set up.

The working language is English, however sometimes Dutch documents will appear but this can easily be translated with online translation tools.

Last but not least, SoMe4D is the first social network for social media usage by Dutch based international aid & development organisations and will be used as such - for photo sharing, learning about people and cultures, collaborating on ideas, making new friends, and more.
